Chihuahua Size is a Plus
Are there any size or weight restrictions on dogs in your condo or community? Many will not permit dogs over 30-pounds.
Do you keep your house extraordinarily warm? Some dogs are worried by warm room temperatures.
A Chihuahua would be a wiser choice than Shih Tzu in that case. How much dog are you able to lift? A Pug is an easy going companion but may weigh 18-pounds while a Yorkshire Terrier generally does not surpass 7-pounds. How much exercise will the dog need? Any Terrier is a high-energy dog requiring outside exercise. On the other hand, a British Toy Spaniel or Eastern Jaw can get all of the exercise they need within a flat.
Is the reproduce’s personality a good match with you? Some folk find Toy Poodles too challenging and would do better with the sweet-tempered Papillon. Are you ready for the expenses of dog ownership? The bare minimum guesstimate for dog possession is $1 a day.
Are you able to obtain pet insurance? Many firms offer group rates to their staff and retirees. Eventually , have you considered what happens to your dog if you can not care for him? Toy breeds regularly live 15-years or longer. Be certain to include instructions in your will on how your pet should be placed. With a tiny forethought and planning, you can choose the right kind of dog for your way of life and enjoy many cheerful years together.
